TRI-CITY AREA —Colton Randall shot a front-nine of 36 and a back-nine of 38 for a medalist round of 74, leading the Capac golf team to a second-place showing at the Blue Water Area Conference League Tournament last Saturday.

Belle River Golf Course, in Memphis, is where the action unfolded.

Cros-Lex topped the standings with a 320 output. They were followed by Capac (330), Armada (348), Almont (351), Richmond and Algonac (354 each), Imlay City (357) and Yale (365).

Josh Nemecek (83) and Jordan Heiden (85) supplied Capac's next lowest rounds at the Blue Water Area Conference League Tournament. Alex Montney, Jeff McConnell and Josh Messner shared their fourth and final scoring position with 88s.

For Almont, Adam Bacheller's 83 proved low. The Raiders also counted Brad Stanfest's 86, Brett McDonald's 89 and Brett Gors' 93.

Drew Schultz paced Imlay City with an 82. He was backed by Brenan Hopkins and Shane Lesniak (a 90 apiece) along with Mitchell Tietz's 95.

Final League Team Standings- 1) Cros-Lex, 76 points; 2) Capac, 65 points; 3) Richmond, 60 points; 4) Armada, 47 points; 5) Almont, 41 points; 6) Imlay City, 30 points; 7) Yale, 22 points; and 8) Algonac, 19 points.

MVP- Colton Randall, Capac.
