Capac and Richmond concluded play with matching 160 team outputs. That meant a tiebreaker, based on each team's fifth best score would be used to determine which side would rank first at day's end.

It was there Capac posted a 44 and Richmond managed a 47, leaving the former with a first to show for their efforts.

Six other schools teed it up that day. Their ranks consisted of Cros-Lex (171), Algonac (175), Yale (176), Armada (176), Almont (183) and Imlay City (184).

Josh Messner shot a 38 and Colton Randall carded a 39 to lead Capac. Jordan Heiden (40) and Jeff McConnell (43) rounded out the Chiefs' top-four.

Brett Gors paced Almont with a 44. Brett McDonald followed, firing a 45. Aaron Stanek, Ben McNally and Jason McKelvey shared the Raiders' final scoring spot with 47s.

Shane Lesniak led Imlay City with a 40. The Spartans also counted Drew Schultz's 43, Mitchell Tietz's 48 and a 53 from Mike Bacis.
