May 05, 2010 DRYDEN — Dryden swept visiting Caseville, 13-3 and 17-2, in a North Central Thumb League varsity baseball doubleheader last Thursday.
In the opener, Austin Dunnigan and Cory Clark (two singles and a double each) along with Craig Buoncompagno (two singles) put up Dryden's best numbers. They were given assistance in the hitting department by Josh Clark and Cody Paupert (a single apiece).
Chad Jordan and Dunnigan shared the pitching chores for Dryden. They combined for four strikeouts over the five-inning distance.
In the nightcap, Josh Clark (two singles, a double and a triple) proved Dryden's toughest out. He was backed by Paupert (a single, a double and a three-run homer), Joey Felker (two singles) along with Jacob Lukas, Jordan and Dunnigan (a single each).
Josh Clark and Ryan Allen took turns pitching for Dryden. They combined for nine strikeouts over the five-inning distance.
