TRI-CITY AREA — Capac and visiting Imlay City split a Blue Water Area Conference varsity softball doubleheader last Thursday.
With the outcomes, Capac goes to 5-3 and 1-1. Imlay City now stands at 5-1 and 1-1.
In the opener, Imlay City obtained a 4-0 win against Capac.
There Imlay City used a two-run sixth inning and a two-run seventh to emerge victorious.

Chandler Katkic led Imlay City's offensive attack, legging out a double. Spencer Seaman, Morgan Nelson and Olivia Leonardi added a single each to the Spartans' cause.
Erin Combs was the winning Imlay City pitcher. She allowed two hits over the seven-inning distance.
Darcie Ball and Jaime Green paced Capac with a single apiece.
In the nightcap, Capac bounced back to secure a 2-1 victory over Imlay City.
There Capac used a two-run second inning to prevail.
Imlay City notched their lone run during inning number five.
Samantha Smith (a triple and two RBI) put up Capac's best offensive numbers. Alexis Folan and Cassie Spencer added a single each to the Chiefs' cause.
Kesley Tosch was Capac's pitcher of record. Tosch threw a three-hitter, including seven strikeouts and one walk.
Alyssa Dawson, Seaman and Leonardi paced Imlay City with a single apiece.
