CAPAC — Capac split a non-conference varsity softball doubleheader with host Port Huron High on Monday.
In the opener, Capac claimed a 6-2 win at Port Huron High's expense.
Darcie Ball (four for five, four stolen bases and one RBI) and Cassie Spencer (two for three and one RBI) proved Capac's top offensive threats. Katelyn Kain (one for three, including a double) and Jaime Green Green (one for three and two RBI) supported their performances.

Ashley Mousseau was Capac's pitcher of record. She allowed just one hit, struck out 11 and walked four over the seven-inning distance.
In the nightcap, Port Huron High bounced back with a 6-5 victory over Capac.
Ball and Green (three for four each) paced Capac's offensive attack. They were backed by Tosch (one for three) and Mousseau (one for four).
With the results, Capac now stands at 5-2 overall.
