Brown City rolls by Dryden

DRYDEN — Brown City defeated visiting Dryden, 60-16, in a non-conference varsity boys' basketball clash last Thursday night.

With the decision, Brown City goes to 3-5 overall. Dryden slips to 1-3 this season.

In Thursday's clash, Brown City forged a 12-7 lead after one quarter had ended.

The middle two quarters saw Brown City continue to pull away.

Aided by a 35-9 advantage there, Brown City took a 47-16 lead at the 24-minute mark.

Brown City then outscored Dryden 13-0 the rest of the way, putting the finishing touches on a 60-16 win.

Andrew Knox led Brown City with 12 points.

For Dryden, Geno Volante's six-point effort proved tops. He was given assistance in the scoring department by Brandon Gierman (four points), Austin Dunnigan (three), Evan Hazen (two) and Craig Buoncompagno (one).
