January 06, 2010 Happy New Year! Since my brain is frozen this frigid morning, how about a few Words of Wisdom to begin the New Year? I don't make New Year's Resolutions but maybe a few Words of Wisdom will get me off to a good start...and you too?
Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
One way to save face is to keep the lower half of it shut.
Tact is the ability to hold your tongue until it's under control.
Worry is like a rocking chair...it will give you something to do but, it won't get you anywhere.
If you get into deep water, keep your mouth shut.
Like tacks, we can go no further than our heads will let us.
Enjoy the little things. One day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
Fear is useless, Faith is priceless.
A smile adds a great deal to face value.
Live your life so you don't have to hide your diary.
Health is wealth...and it's tax free.
Greener pastures often have higher fences.
Kindness is the oil that takes the friction out of life.
Minds are like parachutes...they function only when open.
A smile is a curved line that sets things straight.
For excellence, ask an expert...for wisdom ask a sage...for honesty ask a child.
A little food for thought. Time for the mail lady. Ta-ta.
