January 06, 2010 Looking for a great cure for cabin fever without spending much?
Look no further than the Imlay City Cinemas, which has partnered with the Downtown Development Authority to provide free family-friendly movies beginning later this month.
This partnership allows families from around the area the chance to see 'Monsters Vs. Aliens,' 'Hotel For Dogs,' "Madagascar I,' and the hugely popular classic 'Star Wars,' the original version on the big screen at no charge.
Imlay City Cinemas' owner Remo Querciagrossa is even offering reduced concession prices during the series—making a trip to the movies an inexpensive, fun break from the norm this winter. What an outstanding gift to the community!
Querciagrossa has not only brought first-run movies back to Imlay City, from the moment he refurbished the previously shuttered theater he has extended a hand to the community by hosting school children and other special events.
Querciagrossa's investment in the community has improved the entertainment options for area residents. His partnership with the DDA for the free winter movie series goes way above and beyond.
We hope families from across the area will show their appreciation and take advantage of an inexpensive cure for cabin fever this winter by taking in a free movie on the big screen. This is an outstanding opportunity to keep entertainment options alive in Imlay City, and to support a business owner who's willing to go the extra mile for the community he's invested in.
