IMLAY CITY — Imlay City trounced visiting International Academy of Flint, 66-23, in a non-league varsity girls' basketball contest on Monday, December 7.
With the decision, Imlay City raises its mark to 2-1 overall.

In Monday's game, Imlay City opened up a 25-2 advantage after one quarter was complete and widened the gap to 41-9 at the halftime break.
Imlay City then outscored International Academy of Flint 25-14 the rest of the way, closing out a 66-23 win.
Ann Pawlaczyk (11, including a trifecta), Morgan Lee and Millie Velez (11 each) plus Mandy Lacertosa and Taelor Webb (10 each) led Imlay City with double digit point totals. The Spartans also received points courtesy of Kali Van Dyk (four), Chandler Katkic (three) along with Allison Dick, Jaclyn Van Dyk and Terra Volmering (two apiece).
