Chamber Notes

November 18, 2009
As the new Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director I am excited about the opportunity to work in Imlay City and promote our local businesses and provide networking opportunities as well. We are starting a membership drive and hope to welcome new members to the Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce.

This fall we held our Merchant Trick or Treat and it was a great success. With the holidays fast approaching we have many things lined up. We are re-introducing our "Chamber Bucks" to kick off the holiday season. The "Chamber Bucks" are gift checks that can be redeemed at participating Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce establishments. We hope the community and businesses will purchase them for gifts this holiday season and beyond. They are available in any denomination and can be purchased through the Chamber office Mon., Wed. or Fri. from 9 a.m. to noon, or by appointment. The Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce "Chamber Bucks" promotions' objective is to keep our 'bucks' in the Imlay City Area. The DDA and Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to offer some great events this holiday season.
