November 11, 2009
ALMONT — Dylan Creger pulled up 33rd (just three spots away from earning All-State accolades) with a 16:58.7 clocking and his performance helped the Almont boys' cross country squad register a 25th-place finish last Saturday at the Division 3 state finals.

Michigan International Speedway, in Brooklyn, is where the action unfolded.

"Similar to our girls' team, almost all of our varsity boys return next year," Almont Coach Rick Filar said. "Our only senior runner was Joel Bock, who injured his knee two weeks ago, and was unable to finish the season," he noted.
