IMLAY CITY — Imlay City registered a 25-13, 22-25, 25-14, 25-15 triumph against visiting Algonac in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity volleyball matchup last Wednesday night.

With the result, Imlay City bumps its mark to 11-15-2 overall and 3-3 when they square off versus BWAC adversaries.

Millie Velez led Imlay City with 14 service points. Their remaining points went to Kelsey Bosch (eight), Bailey Schaller and Ashley Dockham (seven each), Alyssa Dawson and Kelly Pollard (four apiece), Jaclyn Jerzewski and Alivia Hibbler (two each) along with Jessica Medaugh (one).

Bosch handled the bulk of Imlay City's playmaking responsibilites. She finished with 32 assists.

Velez (14 kills) and Jerzewski (11) put up Imlay City's best hitting numbers. They were backed by Taelor Webb (nine kills), Autumn Chambers (eight) plus Marcella Alu and Dawson (two apiece).

Schaller notched Imlay City's top dig output, collecting 13. Dawson (eight digs), Pollard (seven), Dockham (five), Bosch and Velez (three apiece), Jerzewski and Webb (two each) along with Chandler Katkic and Medaugh (one apiece).

Webb added five solo blocks to Imlay City's cause.
