Dryden turns back Kingston at home

DRYDEN — Dryden obtained a 25-21, 20-25, 25-22, 25-23 win against visiting Kingston in a North Central Thumb League varsity volleyball confrontation on Tuesday, September 29.

With the result, Dryden bumps its mark to 4-1 versus NCTL adversaries.

Maddy Couch (16), Angie Kopas (12) and Natalie Maynard (11) led Dryden with double digit point totals. They were backed by Alexa Mason and Jackie Warner (eight points apiece), Devon Keeler (seven) and Sam Benaglio (three).

Couch (20), Keeler (10) and Warner (six) combined for 36 assists as Dryden's offensive catalysts.

Kopas (27 kills) proved Dryden's most lethal net weapon. Kayla Worley and Mason (two each) along with Lauren Savarino, Warner and Keeler (one apiece) supported her effort.

Rachel DeCeuninck notched the highest Dryden dig total, collecting 30. The remaining Cardinal digs went to Maynard (22), Mason (17), Couch (nine), Worley (seven), Warner (five), Benaglio (three), Keeler (two) and Savarino (one).
