TRI-CITY AREA — Almont slipped past visiting Imlay City, 1-0, in a Blue Water Area Conference boys' soccer showdown last Wednesday afternoon.
With the decision, Almont raises its mark to 6-1 overall and 5-0 as far as BWAC matchups are concerned. Imlay City watches their record drop to 7-2-1 this season, including a 4-1 league showing thus far.
Austin Kennedy accounted for the game's lone goal that day, capitalizing on a pass from Kyle McNeil. It came just 51 ticks into the contest.
Geoffrey Young was the victorious Almont goalie with five saves.
