ALMONT — Almont fashioned a 5-0 mark en route to a number one showing among 10 and Under Division entries at the Almont All-Star Baseball Tournament this past weekend.
The team opened tournament action Friday with an 8-4 win over Armada.
The following day Almont registered an 8-1 triumph against North Branch and notched an 8-4 victory over Canton.
The team then wrapped up their title-producing run Sunday with a 20-5 win against Richmond and a 6-2 triumph over Washington.
Nathan Thomas, Tyler Stryker, Daniel DeBlauwe, Brendan Ecker, Josh Ratzow, Justin Terzich, Jared Litchfield, Nick Terry, Zach Revoldt, Drew Revoldt, Matt Schuster, Jordan Lesniak and Roy Clancy comprised Almont's championship roster. The team was directed to their number one finish by coaches Steve Lesniak, Dave Terry and Evan Ratzow.
