IMLAY CITY — Imlay City Blue put together a 4-1 record, paving the way to a first-place finish among 18 and Under Division entries at the Alysha Rahn Memorial All-Star Softball Tournament this past weekend.
The squad began their title-producing run with a 3-2 win Saturday against Imlay City Gold.

Imlay City Blue then took two of their next three clashes on Saturday. That stretch included a 3-0 setback to Capac; a 20-0 victory over Imlay City Gold; and a 5-4 triumph against Capac.
Those outcomes assured Imlay City Blue of a title game appearance on Sunday.
It was there Imlay City Blue made sure it would end their tournament stint on a high note, picking up a 2-0 win against Imlay City Gold.
Jordan Kowaleski, Chelsea Thompson, Lauren Rheaume, Elizabeth Suboski, Katie Rini, Kelly Kahl, Kelsie Evans, Rachael Parlett, Ashton Tripp, Justine Belanger, Hillary Cooper, Mikayla Pardon and Taylor Reiff made up Imlay City Blue's championship roster. They were coached by Sandy Belanger and John Moses.
