TRI-CITY AREA — With the exception of the number one spot, the battle for the six berths on the 2009 edition of the Tri-City Times All-Area golf first team went down-to-the-wire.

When the results were tallied, Capac led the way with three first team selections this spring. Almont had two competitors gain those accolades, while Imlay City managed one.

Here is a look at who made the 2009 edition of The Tri-City Times All-Area golf team and the numbers they posted along the way.

Postseason honors: Rand-all finished his third season on Capac's squad as an All-Blue Water Area Conference honorable mention selection.
