IMLAY CITY — Imlay City's Alyssa Snyder suited up for Eastern Michigan Bank in their 2-1 victory over Citizens First Bank at the Third Annual Blue Water Senior All-Star Softball Game on Tuesday, June 16.
Memorial Major Ballpark, in Port Huron, is where the action unfolded.
In Tuesday's matchup, Eastern Michigan Bank grabbed a 1-0 edge after three innings were complete.
The fourth inning of play was scoreless.
Inning number five saw Citizens First bounce back with one run, while allowing none.

That made it a 1-1 ballgame at the time.
Inning number six was scoreless.
The seventh inning saw Eastern Michigan Bank manage one run and Citizens Bank generate none.
The next two innings would prove scoreless, leaving Eastern Michigan Bank with a 2-1 victory to celebrate at night's end.
Snyder was Eastern Michigan Bank's pitcher of record that evening.
She worked the last four innings, taking over the mound assignment from Marine City's Emily Rose-Gray who had held her team even up until the time of her departure.
Snyder gave up three hits over that aforementioned stretch and did not allow a run. The stint saw her allow one baserunner during the sixth inning; withstand a bases-loaded jam with one out in the seventh; plus retire her opponents in order during the eighth and ninth innings.
She batted three times over the course of the contest. That included a first inning popup for an out; a fourth-inning walk; and a bunt for a fielder's choice during the seventh inning of play.
