New commissioners elected in Imlay City

IMLAY CITY — The winds of change blew through the city Tuesday, and the result was the election of three new city commissioners.

Those elected to four-year commission seats were Richard Brinker, 197 votes; incumbent Rodney Warner, 184 votes; and Margaret Guerrero-DeLuca, 161 votes.

Elected to a two-year term was former city DPW employee Tim Kaiser, who tallied 126 votes.

Finishing out of the running were: Bruce Swihart, 115 votes; incumbent John Lengemann, 106 votes; Al Karwowski, 92 votes; and Anthony Daversa, 55 votes.
