DRYDEN — Host Dryden (71) outpointed Royal Oak Shrine (55) and Oakland Christian (46) in a boys' non-league triangular track matchup on Tuesday, March 30.

Chad Butler, pole vault (12 feet 6 inches) and long jump (20 feet 8 inches); Allen Clark, shot put, 43 feet 8 inches; Eric Tietz, 100 dash, 12.42 seconds; Douglas Ladner, 300-meter hurdles, 42.49 seconds; Matt Lynch, 400 dash, 54.44 seconds; and Brandon Gierman, 800-meter run, 2:24.3; led Dryden with individual event wins.

The Dryden 400 (Joe Drexler, Geno Volante, Chad Butler and Tietz), 800 (Chad Butler, Tietz, Drexler and Ladner) and 1600 relays (Lynch, Gierman, Volante and Ladner) also prevailed. They logged respective efforts of 49.53 seconds, 1:40.96 and 3:51.15 en route.

Lynch, high jump, 5 feet 10 inches; Jake Albert, pole vault, 9 feet; Clark, discus, 117 feet 7 inches; Ladner, 110-meter hurdles, 17.11 seconds; supplied Dryden's individual event seconds.

The Dryden 3200 relay of Wes Butler, Collin Stone, Zach Ulman and Cody Barker took second as well. They needed 10:15.05 to cover the distance.

Adam Barnier, pole vault, 9 feet; generated the lone Dryden thirds.

Dylan Malone, pole vault, 8 feet 6 inches; Stone, 300-meter hurdles, 47.97 seconds; James Kaliszewski, 1600 run, no time available; completed the list of Dryden placewinners with fourths.
