Aided by a 13-4 cushion there, Almont whittled their deficit to 21-20 at the halftime break.

When the action resumed, Almont picked up where it left off.

Thanks to a 13-6 third quarter edge, Almont pushed their lead to 33-27 at the 24-minute mark.

Cros-Lex then outscored Almont 15-13 the rest of the way, only to fall by a 46-42 count when the final scores were tallied.

Ben McNally (19 points) and Neal Zott (15, including a field goal of the three-point variety) proved Almont's toughest players to contain. The remaining Raider points went to Dillon Melly (six) along with Aaron May, Jake McCarthy and Brad Showalter (two each).

McNally and Zott added Almont's top rebounding numbers. They pulled down 14 and seven missed shots, respectively.

Brad Farley paced Cros-Lex with a 10-point performance. Farley hit two treys en route.
