DRYDEN — Sarah DeCeuninck collected 25 service points and Hillary Mason amassed 23, leading host Dryden to a 25-12, 25-27, 25-15, 23-25, 15-8 win against visiting Akron-Fairgrove in a North Central Thumb League varsity volleyball encounter last Thursday night.
With the decision, Dryden bumps its mark to 10-8-1 and 6-3.
Besides the aforementioned duo, Dryden received service points from four other sources. Their ranks consisted of Lynsey Marchwinski (20 points), Angie Kopas (13), Brittany Lewis (10) and Selina Paupert (six).
Mason was Dryden's offensive catalyst. She finished with 30 assists.
DeCeuninck and Kopas proved the top Dryden hitters, registering 11 kills apiece. They were backed by Cortney Lowney (10 kills), Courtney Buckner (four), Paupert (three), Mason (two) along with Sandrine Simon (one).
Marchwinski paced Dryden as far as digs were concerned, accumulating 44. The Cardinals also received digs courtesy of Lewis (30), DeCeuninck (28), Mason and Paupert (15 each), Lowney (14), Kopas (four) and Mandi Jones (three).
Bucker posted the highest Dryden solo block output, collecting four. Kopas added two solo blocks to the Cardinals' cause.
