Almont blanks Capac in BWAC boys' soccer play

TRI-CITY AREA — Almont used a 2-0 first half edge and a 5-0 second half advantage to turn back visiting Capac, 7-0, in a Blue Water Area Conference boys' soccer meeting last Wednesday afternoon.

With the decision, Almont improves to 13-4-1 and 8-3-1.

Ben McNally led Almont with a two-goal effort. The Raiders also received a goal each courtesy of Evan Kennedy, Tom Stroup, Aaron Schapman, Martin Camaj and Grant Boxey.

Mike Nadrowski, Connor Young and McNally contributed an assist apiece to Almont's cause.

Geoffrey Young drew the goalkeeping assignment for Almont that day. Young managed 10 saves.

Frank Potyczka handled the goalkeeping chores for Capac. He was credited with 18 saves.
