TRI-CITY AREA — Imlay City swept host Capac by 25-14, 25-19, 25-19 scores in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity volleyball contest last Wednesday night.
With the decision, Imlay City raises its mark to 10-14-2 and 2-1.
For Imlay City, Kelsey Bosch led the way with 10 service points. Their remaining points went to Spencer Seaman (eight), Alyssa Dawson (seven), Brooke Medaugh (five), Ashley Dockham and Sami Juip (two apiece) along with Taelor Webb (one).
Bosch was Imlay City's primary playmaker. She finished with 30 assists.
Millie Velez paced all Imlay City hitters, registering 13 kills. She was backed by Allison Gass (seven kills), Juip (six), Dockham (five), Jaclyn Jerzewski and Medaugh (four each), Marcella Alu (two) and Webb (one).
Juip (15), Dockham (13), Bosch (11) and Medaugh (10) provided Imlay City with double digit dig outputs. The Spartans also received digs courtesy of Dawson (eight), Seaman (seven), Alu and Gass (two apiece) along with Webb (one).
Velez supplied Imlay City's highest solo block total, collecting two. Their remaining solo block was notched by Gass.
