IMLAY CITY — There is nothing certain in the NFL. Just ask David Kircus, he knows all too well.

Just a couple weeks ago, Kircus was named Miami Dolphin's "Player of the Week." Now he is looking for another job on another team's roster.

The Imlay City High School and Grand Valley State University standout a wide receiver on the Miami Dolphins' roster, was released from the team last Friday.

The decision came on the eve of the team's third preseason game.

It also came four days before teams must trim their rosters to 75 players.

Miami's move came as a bit of a surprise, given that Kircus had hauled in three receptions for 39 yards in the Dolphins' exhibition opener.

As of press time Tuesday, no NFL team had picked up Kircus.
