TRI-CITY AREA — Imlay City turned back visiting Capac, 5-1, in a Blue Water Area Conference boys' soccer confrontation Monday afternoon.
There Imlay City used a 3-0 opening half advantage and a 2-1 second half edge to prevail.

Jose Barragan (unassisted), Jose Barragan (unassisted) and Jose Barragan (set up by Luis Barragan and Sylvester Galeana) netted Imlay City's opening half goals. Those tallies came with 27:19 to play; 2:19 remaining and 19 seconds to play.
Galeana (set up by Jose Barragan) and Luis Barragan (unassisted) added Imlay City's second half goals.
Justin Evans was the winning Imlay City goalkeeper. He made one save.
Tyler Sawicki supplied the lone Capac goal, capitalizing on a pass by Nick Soucek with 9:17 to play during half number two.
