David Kircus, (far right) is making the most of his opportunity to make the NFL's Miami Dolphins. Recently David was named the Dolphins' Player of the Week, catching 3 passes for 39 yards against Tampa Bay in the exhibition season opener. Kircus signed with Miami in February after being released by the Denver Broncos in 2006. David is a 1998 graduate of Imlay City High School and had a record setting collegiate career for Grand Valley State. Kircus started his NFL career with the Detroit Lions in 2003. David appears to have a very good chance of making the team, which also features Lapeer East and University of Michigan standout lineman Jake Long. Long was the top draft pick in the NFL and is expected to contribute immediately for Miami. Long is shown here in warm-ups at the Dolphins' practice facility in Davie, Florida.
