MUSSEY TWP. — In what ended up to be a tight race, Republican Supervisor Mike Lauwers was re-elected to the post by a 22 vote margin over fellow Republican contender Randy Schultz. Lauwers earned 235 votes to Schultz's 213.

In the 81st District State Representative race, Republican Phil Pavlov received 316 votes from Mussey Township residents, while contender Pete Frangedakis garnered 101 votes.

Additionally, 316 Mussey township residents voted for Democrat Tim Donnellon for sheriff, contender Ray Foltz earned 117 votes.
