Almont rallies past Imlay City in BWAC soccer play

TRI-CITY AREA — Almont overcame a 2-0 halftime deficit to upend visiting Imlay City, 4-2, in a Blue Water Area Conference girls' soccer matchup last Thursday afternoon.

With the result, Almont raises its mark to 6-4-1 and 3-4-1.

Lexi Sheehan (unassisted), Heather Curtis (set up by Kaylin Deppe), Chelsea Dudek (unassisted) and Hillary Cooper (set up by Deppe) furnished Almont's goals.

Nicole Tabor and Nicole Gibson shared the Almont goalkeeping responsibilities. They managed eight saves apice.

Andrea Karlson countered with both of Imlay City's tallies, the first assisted by Alizabeth Caldwell and the second set up by Taylor Lee.

Alivia Hibbler drew the goalkeeping assignment for Imlay City. She was credited with 11 stops.
