CAPAC — Capac registered a number one showing last Friday at a Blue Water Area Conference Jamboree Tournament it hosted.

Holly Meadows Golf Course is where the action unfolded.

When the final scores were added up, Capac's 160 total proved best. They were followed by Armada (172), Algonac (173), Richmond (175), Cros-Lex (178), Imlay City (179), Almont (180) and Yale (182).

Kenny Randall, Colton Randall, Justin VanBibber and Jordan Konyha (a 40 each) comprised Capac's winning attack.

For Almont, Kyle Henry's 42 and Stephan Osborn's 44 proved tops. Jake McCarthy, Lauren Bone and Ryan Sly (a 47 apiece) shared the final two scoring positions.

Mitchell Tietz carded a 40 and Josh Timmer chipped in a 45 to lead Imlay City. Cody Campbell was a shot back, at 46, and Drew Schultz added a 48 to the Spartans' cause.
