IMLAY CITY — The on again, off again NFL career of David Kircus, an Imlay City High School graduate, is back on again.

That news became official when it was announced last Thursday that the Miami Dolphins have signed the wide receiver.

Kircus did not play a year ago, after being cut by the Denver Broncos at the start of the season. He was not picked up by any NFL teams.

During the 2006 campaign, Kircus played in all 16 of Denver's contests. He wound up with nine catches for 187 yards.

Prior to that, Kircus suited up for the Detroit Lions. His two-season stint, running from 2003-04, saw him make six receptions for 121 yards and a score in 12 games.

He joins a Miami Dolphin squad which is coming off a 1-15 campaign.
