February 06, 2008 CAPAC — Village President Mark Klug has appointed Marsha Libkie to fill a vacant seat on the Capac council.
Libkie took part in her first meeting on Mon., Feb. 4. She comes to the council after two years on the village's planning commission.
Libkie has lived in the village her entire life and has spent 25 years with Capac State Bank where she works as an compliance officer.
Libkie fills a trustee seat left vacant by Brandon Stringer who resigned for personal reasons from the council in early December. She will also fill his seats on the personnel and finance and parks and recreation committees.
To fill Libkie's position on the planning commission, Klug appointed Patsy Beischer, who has previously served on the board.
