Capac grad Boseak namedas the assistant SID at CMU

CAPAC — Central Michigan University Sports Information Director Don Helinski named Mike Boseak, a Capac High School graduate, as an Assistant Sports Information Director recently.

The 2005 Central Michi-gan University graduate had spent the last two years at Florida Atlantic University.

While there, Boseak served as an assistant director of athletic media relations. He also was the primary contact person for the Owls' men's basketball, softball and women's soccer programs.

In addition to those duties, Boseak served as the play-by-play voice for the FAU softball program.

Boseak earned a degree in Sports Studies and then received a master's degree in business administration from FAU in 2007. He was also active in CMU's student media while in Mount Pleasant, calling Chippewa games for WMHW-FM 91.5.

He will serve as the CMU women's basketball contact, along with other assigned sports.

Sports Editor, Kevin Kissane has been covering sports for the Tri-City Times for over 20 years and is one of the most recognizable personalities in the area.
