Richmond turns back Capac, 8-0,in district action

CAPAC — Third-ranked Richmond downed host Capac, 8-0, in a Division 3 boys' district soccer semifinal confrontation last Wednesday afternoon.

With the final, Richmond (19-2-1) advances to this Friday's championship game at Armada High School where Lakeville provides their opposition. That matchup lists a 4:30 p.m. starting time. Capac finishes at 3-17.

In Wednesday's confrontation, Richmond jumped out to a 6-0 advantage at the halftime break.

Richmond then added a pair of second half goals, closing out an 8-0 triumph.
