TRI-CITY AREA — Megan Rank carded a 100 over 18 holes, helping the Capac girls' golf squad to a second-place showing at a league tournament it hosted last Wednesday afternoon.
When the final scores were announced, Lutheran North's 374 total led the way. Capac took second, aided by a 452 output, and Imlay City tallied for 468 for third. They were followed by Armada (485) and Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest (521).
Hilary Lewis and Jessica Patton (a 116 each) posted the next best Capac 18-hole totals. Andrea Hedblad chipped in a 120 to the Chiefs' cause.
Janaye Powers led Imlay City with a 105 over 18 holes. Darcy Walker (112), Polly Cullimore (119) and Tiffany Adams (132) rounded out the Spartans' top-four.
Capac and Imlay City return to action this Thursday when they travel to Perry for a Division 3 regional.
