LAPEER — A Lapeer couple could spend their honeymoon in the Lapeer County Jail and that's at the invitation of Sheriff Ron Kalanquin.

Police are on the hunt for Elizabeth Bruman, 23 and Aaron Holt, 24, who allegedly have purchased wedding rings with the cash they took during a Sept. 19 armed robbery.

"If they turn themselves in, I'll marry them in jail," Kalanquin said Monday after a press conference.

Investigators have been able to trace their spending since the pair held up the Lapeer County Bank and Trust in Deerfield Twp. last month.

In addition to the rings, the couple have used the money to purchase clothes and hire a lawyer in regards to a custody dispute Bruman is involved in for her three children, Kalanquin said.

Warrants have been issued for the pair. They were spotted driving a green 1995 Pontiac Bonneville.

Bruman is described as having blond hair, hazel eyes, 5'5" and 120 pounds.
