Capac girls' finish second in debut outing at Timberwood

CAPAC — The Capac girls' golf team opened their debut campaign with a second-place finish during a match contested Tuesday, September 11 at Timber-wood Golf Course near Armada.

When the final scores were announced, Lutheran North's 213 output proved best. Capac took second, thanks to a 217 total, and Armada tallied 238 for third.

Jessica Patton shot a 48 and Megan Rank carded a 50 to lead Capac. Beth Schaefer and Hilary Lewis added a 59 and a 60, respectively, to the Chiefs' cause.

Andrea Hedblad (63) and Katie McVeigh (65) also teed it up for Capac that day.
