Low turnout at Dryden polls

DRYDEN — Just 61 votes were tallied in Tuesday's election which saw all the candidates earning a seat on the village council.

Patrick Betcher, current president, will serve another four years after receiving 47 votes.

Incumbent Jeff Nash will also see another four years after tallying 49 votes.

Jeff Quail sought and earned a two-year post with 15 votes.

Write-in candidates Michael Franz got 15 votes and Thomas Yezak 12. Each will sit on the council for four years.

They will join current board members John Kelso and Stan Roszczewski who each have two years remaining in their terms, Clerk Janice Kent said.
