TRI-CITY AREA — Imlay City claimed a 2-0 win against host Capac in a meeting of Blue Water Area Conference boys' soccer rivals last Wednesday afternoon.
With the result, Imlay City moves to 1-1 this season and 1-0 versus league counterparts. Capac slips to 0-1 overall and against BWAC opponents.
In Wednesday's matchup, Imlay City and Capac ended the initial 40-minute half knotted at 0-0.

Imlay City then collected a pair of goals during half number two, assuring themselves of a 2-0 win when the final second ticked off the clock.
Luis Barragan (unassisted) and Barragan (set up by Adrian Hernandez) furnished Imlay City's goals. Their tallies came with 28:08 and 20:15, respectively, remaining.
John Torres handled the goalkeeping chores for Imlay City that day. Torres was credited with four saves.
For Capac, Robert Hall had a much busier afternoon in net. Hall finished with a 17-save performance.
