August 29, 2007 DENVER — Former Imlay City High School and Grand Valley State University standout David Kircus, a wide receiver, was among a list of players that were cut by the Denver Broncos according to a team spokesperson.
That news became official yesterday afternoon when the Broncos trimmed their roster to 75 players.
There had been some speculation that Kircus would not return for another campaign when he did not show up at a team practice on Tuesday.
Kircus is a three-year veteran of the NFL, having played at Detroit before heading out west to join the Denver Broncos.
He is coming off a campaign which saw him catch nine passes for a total of 187 yards.
Information on whether Kircus will be picked up by another NFL team was not available. He could not be reached for comment.
