CAPAC — Kenny Randall, of Capac, bested all 16 and Older Division entrants at a Top-50 Junior Golf Tour qualifying event last Wednesday.

A total of 21 competitors teed it up in his division that day.

Randall's pacesetting round included a front-nine total of 38 and a back-nine output of 36.
It marked his lowest round on the Top-50 Junior Golf Tour thus far this season.
The following day, competing in a Top-50 Junior Golf Tour Tournament round at Sugarbush Golf Club in Davison, Randall posted an 83. That enabled him to rank seventh among 16 and Older Division entries.
His performance at the challenging layout, ranked sixth on the list of Michigan Monster Courses according to Michigan Golf Magazine, included a 41 on the front-nine and a 42 on the back-nine.
Bradley Pelette, of DeWitt, took division honors that day. He checked in with a formidable 72 over 18 holes.
