CAPAC — Capac wound up with a 3-1 mark, paving the way to a first-place finish among 14 and Under Division entries this past weekend at the Alysha Rahn Memorial Softball Tournament in Imlay City.
The team opened their championship-producing run with a 3-2 loss to Imlay City Friday evening.
Capac then picked up a 10-5 win against Almont Saturday morning.

Later that day, Capac improved to 2-1 with a 12-2 victory over North Branch.
Capac then closed out their tournament stay with a 13-3 triumph against Davison Sunday afternoon.
Alexis Folan, Whitney Weston, Alex Miller, Jill Lauwers, Kelly Frost, Samantha Smith, Alicia Blackstock, Caylyn Boadway, Chelsea Botwin, Hilary Lewis, Kelsey Tosch and Abby Aguinaga helped make Capac's number one finish possible. They were coached by Mark Boadway, Michelle Marshall and Tim Smith.
