CAPAC — Yale downed host Capac, 80-55, in a Blue Water Area Conference boys' track confrontation on Tuesday, May 1.

Matt Walker, high jump (5 feet 6 inches) and 200 dash (24.33 seconds); Alex Wegner, shot put, 44 feet 7 inches; Joe Camire, 400-meter dash, 56.08 seconds; Brendan Pfeifer, 800 run, 2:08.1; and Josh Murphy, 3200-meter run, 10:54.8; paced Capac, which slips to 1-3 overall and when pitted against BWAC rivals, with individual event firsts.

The Capac 1600 (Brian Kulman, Dan Jackson, Pfeifer and Camire) and 3200 (Todd Lawrence, Camire, Pfeifer and Murphy) relays also regisered top finishes. They stopped the watch at 3:52.91 and 9:12.15, respectively.

Shane Sinda, long jump, 17 feet 6 inches; Tino Siewert, shot put, 38 feet 9 inches; Wegner, discus, 133 feet 7 inches; plus Lawrence, 1600 (5:03.75) and 3200-meter (10:56.44) runs logged Capac's seconds.

Siewert, discus, 111 feet 8 inches; Jackson, 400 dash, 58.7 seconds; and Murphy, 1600-meter run, 5:10.13; rounded out the list of Capac placewinners with thirds.
