Easter events slated for Saturday

TRI-CITY AREA — Saturday's your last chance to get in one last egg hunt or visit with the Easter bunny before the actual holiday arrives on Sunday.

Here's what's planned:

•Capac United Methodist Church will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20, doors open at 10 a.m. with the hunt starting at 10:30 a.m. For more information, call the church at 810-395-2112.

•The Almont Lions are making plans for their Easter celebration on April 20 at 11 a.m. at the Almont Community Park, Water Street.

The Easter bunny will make a grand entrance via helicopter that morning at 10:45 a.m.

•Gateway Church is making plans for their Easter Eggsploration on April 20 at 11 a.m. at the Eastern Michigan State Fairgrounds in Imlay City. All kids, birth through 6th grade, are invited to attend this free event that will feature 40,000 Easter eggs and more than 600 pounds of candy.
