IMLAY CITY —Imlay City Schools will host their annual Community Night at Imlay City High School this Friday, February 8. Guests will enjoy free admission to both the varsity girls and boys basketball games against Cros-Lex. The girls game tips off at 6 p.m. followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m.
Additionally, Community Night will feature the district's second annual Induction Ceremony into their Athletic Hall of Fame where they'll recognize individuals and/or family members of those being inducted into the Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place during the intermission between the games.
Those being honored include Doug Maison (student-athlete), Tracey Moenaert Combs (student-athlete), Ruth Ann Prey (contributor) and the football team of 1993.
"The Athletic Hall of Fame is a way for Imlay City to recognize the achievements of past student-athletes, coaches and contributors to our Athletics Department," the district said in a press release.
The district and Imlay City Alumni Association are collaborators in the project.
