"Alcohol, speed and weather conditions are not believed to be a factor," Lt. Shannon Sims said in a press release.
Sims said troopers were grateful for the assistance they received from the Lapeer County Sheriff's Department in the investigation of the crash.
Additionally, Sims sought to thank Lapeer County Central Dispatch, Lapeer County EMS, the Goodland Township and Imlay City fire departments and Paul's Collision and Towing for responding to the scene.
