IMLAY CITY — New Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce Director Wendy Muehleisen is in need of volunteers to assist with the 2017 Blueberry Festival Auction.
This year's Blueberry Auction will take place Saturday, March 25.
Money raised from the Blueberry Auction is critical to the success of this summer's Blueberry Festival, which takes place July 21-22 in downtown Imlay City.
The event features live music, children's games and contests, food concessions, fireworks, Little Miss Blueberry contestants, the traditional Blueberry Festival Parade on Saturday, July 22 and much more.
Drop off auction items
The success of the event is also reliant on donations of goods and services to be auctioned off on March 25.
Muehleisen said items may be dropped off at the Chamber office at the Imlay City Hall from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays through Thursdays.
Those interested in volunteering for the Auction Committee, donating auction items, or making donations in support of the Blueberry Festival via cash or check is asked to call Muehleisen at the Chamber of Commerce office at 810-724-1361.
