TRI-CITY AREA —From the beginning of the season to the end, these competitors made a name for themselves with their consistently strong performances.

Here is a look at who earned a spot on the 2019 edition of The Tri-City Times All-Area girls' track lineup and the accomplishments they registered along the way

Name: Mary Lengemann

School: Imlay City

Year: Freshman

Event: High jump

Best effort: Lengemann supplied a clearance of 5 feet 1 inches en route to a first at the Kearsley Relays on Friday, April 5.

Top finishes: She took first at the Kearsley Relays and Marlette Invitational; provided seconds at the Corunna-based Cavalier Classic True Team Invitational and Blue Water Area Conference League Meet hosted by Armada High School; notched thirds at the Davison-based Shake off the Rust Invitational, Blue Water Area Meet of Champions in Marysville and Caro-based Thumb Area Meet of Champions; plus obtained fourths at Davison Twilight Classic and at a Division 2 regional in Clio.

Name: Autumn Kwierant

School: Almont

Year: Junior

Event: Pole vault

Best effort: Kwierant cleared 8 feet 6 inches for fourth Friday, May 24 at the Blue Water Area Meet of Champions. Marysville High School is where the meet was contested.

Top finishes: She collected a first at the Kearsley Relays; registered a second at the Lake Fenton Blue Devil Relays; generated fourths at a Brown City-based Division 3 regional and Blue Water Area Meet of Champions in Marysville; provided a sixth at the Armada-based Blue Water Area Conference League Meet; plus managed eighths at the Marlette Invitational and Davison Twilight Classic.

Name: Robin LeFevere

School: Imlay City

Year: Senior

Event: Long jump

Best effort: LeFevere registered a school record-setting performance of 17 feet 4 1/4 inches en route to a first at the Kearsley Relays on Friday, April 5.

Top finishes: She obtained firsts at the Kearsley Relays, Marlette Invitational, Corunna-based Cavalier True Team Invitational and Blue Water Area Conference League Meet in Armada; provided seconds at the Davison-based Shake Off the Rust Invitational, Davison Twilight Classic and Blue Water Area Meet of Champions in Marysville; furnished a sixth at the Division 2 state finals in Zeeland (earning All-State plaudits as a result); plus added a seventh at the Thumb Meet of Champions in Caro.

Name: Natalie Poirier

School: Dryden

Year: Senior

Event: Long jump

Best effort: Poirier supplied a school record-setting performance of 15 feet 9 inches en route to a second at the Davison Twilight Classic on Friday, May 10.

She earned a first at a Division 4 regional hosted by Flint Beecher High School; obtained seconds at the Webberville-based Austin C. Perkins Memorial Invitational, Davison Twilight Classic and North Central Thumb League Championships in Mayville; obtained a third at the USA Invitational; collected an eighth at the Davison-based Shake Off the Rust Invitational; plus added a 13th at the Division 4 state finals in Hudsonville.

Name: Sophia Rosillo

School: Imlay City

Year: Senior

Event: Shot put

Best effort: Rosillo uncorked a toss measuring 33 feet 4 inches for fifth Friday, May 27 at the Marysville-based Blue Water Area Meet of Champions.

Top finishes: She collected a second at the Kearsley Relays; garnered fifths at the Blue Water Area Conference League Meet hosted by Armada High School and the Marysville-based Blue Water Area Meet of Champions; notched a sixth at the Thumb Meet of Champions in Caro; supplied an eighth at the Marlette Invitational; and added a 12th at the Davison-based Shake off the Rust Invitational.

Name: Ashley Santo

School: Almont

Year: Senior

Event: Discus

Best effort: Santo threw the weight implement 105 feet 3 inches at the Davison Twilight Classic on Friday, May 10.

Top finishes: She claimed firsts at the Kearsley Relays, Marlette Invitational and Brown City-based Green Devil Invitational; supplied seconds at the Lake Fenton Blue Devil Relays, Davison Twilight Classic and at a Division 3 regional in Capac; furnished fourths at the Blue Water Area Conference League Meet hosted by Armada High School and Marysville-based Blue Water Area Meet of Champions; plus tacked on a 24th at the Division 3 state finals hosted by Jenison High School.

Name: Jillian LeFevere

School: Imlay City

Year: Junior

Event: 100-meter dash

Best effort: LeFevere posted a time of 13.54 seconds for second Tuesday, May 21 at the Armada High School-based Blue Water Area Conference League Meet.

Top finishes: She took second at the Marlette Invitational and Blue Water Area Conference League Meet hosted by Armada High School; contributed a seventh at the Davison-based Shake off the Rust Invitational; generated a ninth at the Blue Water Area Meet of Champions hosted by Marysville High School; plus added 14ths at the Davison Twilight Classic and a Division 2 regional in Clio.

Name: Caitlyn Hill

School: Dryden

Year: Senior

Event: 100-meter dash

Best effort: Hill raced to a clocking of 13.59 seconds en route to a second at the Mayville-based NCTL Championships on Tuesday, May 21.

Top finishes: She claimed a second at the NCTL Championship hosted by Mayville High School; registered a fifth at the Davison Twilight Classic; furnished a sixth at the USA Invite; obtained a seventh at a Flint Beecher-based Division 4 regional; wound up eighth at the Auburn C. Perkins Memorial Invitational in Webberville; plus added a 10th at the Davison-based Shake off the Rust Invitational

Name: Carlee Forsyth

School: Imlay City

Year: Senior

Event: 100-meter hurdles

Best effort: Forsyth registered a clocking of 18.2 seconds en route to a fifth Tuesday, May 21 at the Armada High School-based Blue Water Area Conference League Meet.

Top finishes: She took fifth at the Blue Water Area Conference League Meet hosted by Armada High School; collected a ninth at the Corunna-based Cavalier Classic True Team Invitational; obtained 10ths at the Davison-based Shake off the Rust Invitational and at a Division 2 regional in Clio; plus added 12ths at the Marlette Invitational and Davison Twilight Classic.

Name: Robin LeFevere

School: Imlay City

Year: Senior

Best effort: LeFevere logged a time of 26.34 seconds en route to a first Friday, May 3 at the Corunna-based Cavalier Classic True Team Invitational.

Top finishes: She pulled up first at the Cavalier Classic True Team Invitational in Corunna; furnished second at the Davison-based Shake Off the Rust Invitational, Blue Water Area Conference League Meet in Armada and Marysville-based Blue Water Area Meet of Champions; collected a third at the Davison Twilight Classic; plus added an eighth at a Clio-based Division 2 regional.

Name: Jodie Adams

School: Almont

Year: Senior

Event: 300-meter hurdles

Best effort: Adams notched a clocking of 49.65 seconds for first Friday, May 17 at a Division 4 regional hosted by Flint Beecher High School.

Top finishes: She supplied firsts at the USA Invitational, Webberville-based Auburn C. Perkins Memorial Invitational, Davison Twilight Classic and at Division 4 regional hosted by Flint Beecher High School; wound up third at the Mayville-based North Central Thumb League Championships; plus tacked on a 12th at the Division 4 state finals in Hudsonville.

Name: Robin LeFevere

School: Imlay City

Year: Senior

Event: 400-meter dash

Best effort: LeFevere generated a school record-setting time of 59.03 seconds en route to a fourth (good enough to earn All-State accolades) Saturday, June 1 at the Zeeland-based Division 2 state finals.

Top finishes: She took firsts at the Blue Water Area Conference League Meet hosted by Armada High School, Davison-based Shake Off the Rust Invitational, Cavalier Classic True Team Invitational in Corunna, Davison Twilight Classic, a Division 2 regional in Clio and the Marysville-based Blue Water Area Meet of Champions; plus earned a fourth (obtaining All-State accolades as result) at the Division 2 state finals in Zeeland.

Name: Jessica Denver

School: Imlay City

Year: Sophomore

Event: 800-meter run

Best effort: Denver registered a clocking of 2:25.51 for third Friday, May 17 at a Division 2 regional hosted by Clio High School.

Top finishes: She pulled up first at the Davison-based Shake off the Rust Invitational and Cavalier Classic True Team Invitational in Corunna; took second at the Davison Twilight Classic and Blue Water Area Conference League Meet hosted by Armada High School; furnished thirds at the Marlette Invitational and at a Division 2 regional in Clio; plus obtained a fourth at the Caro-based Thumb Meet of Champions.

Name: Mary Lengemann

School: Imlay City

Year: Freshman

Event: 1600-meter run

Best effort: Lengemann posted a school record-setting time of 5:23.94 en route to a second Friday, May 17 at a Clio-based Division 2 regional.

Top finishes: She notched a second at a Division 2 regional in Clio; collected fourths at the Davison-based Shake Off the Rust Invitational Cavalier Classic True Team Invitational in Corunna; secured a fifth at the Armada-based Blue Water Area Conference League Meet; managed sixths at the Marlette Invitational and Caro-based Thumb Meet of Champions; plus added a 25th at the Division 2 state finals in Zeeland.

Name: Ana Lengemann

School: Imlay City

Year: Freshman

Event: 3200-meter run

Best effort: Lengemann logged a clocking of 12:37.45 for fourth Tuesday, May 21 at the Blue Water Area Conference League Meet hosted by Armada High School.

Top finishes: She claimed a second at the Marlette Invitational; generated thirds at the Davison-based Shake Off the Rust Invitational and Cavalier True Team Classic in Corunna; took fourth at the Blue Water Area Conference League Meet in Armada; generated a sixth at a Division 2 regional in Clio; registered an eighth at the Davison Twilight Classic; plus provided a ninth at the Caro-based Thumb Meet of Champions.

Team: Jillian LeFevere, Layla Delecke, Carlee Forsyth and McKinzie Winget.

Years: Junior, junior, senior and junior.

Event: 400-meter relay

Best effort: Though the personnel varied from time to time, the quartet Imlay City Coach Steve Lestage opted to utilize always seemed to come through with successful performances.

Imlay City was at their swiftest when a team of Jillian LeFevere, McKinzie Winget, Layla Delecke and Robin LeFevere logged a time of 53.64 seconds for first at the Kearsley Relays on Friday, April 5.

Top finishes: A quartet of Jillian LeFevere, McKinzie Winget. Layla Delecke and Robin LeFevere placed first at the Kearsley Relays; a lineup of Jillian LeFevere, Delecke, Forsyth and Winget ranked first at the Marlette Invitational; the same quartet wound up second at the Davison-based Shake Off the Rust Invitational and generated a fourth at the Blue Water Area Conference League Meet in Armada; a lineup of Jillian LeFevere, Aubrie Behrick, Delecke and Forsyth obtained a sixth at the Caro-based Thumb Meet of Champions; a team of Jillian LeFevere, Delecke, Forsyth and Winget contributed sevenths at the Davison Twilight Classic; a quartet of Jillian LeFevere, Delecke, Forsyth and Behrick registered a seventh at the Blue Water Area Meet of Champions in Marysville; plus a team of Jillian LeFevere, Delecke, Forsyth and Winget pulled up eighth at a Division 2 regional in Clio.

Event: 800-meter relay

Best effort: A lineup consisting of Jillian LeFevere, McKinzie Winget, Carlee Forsyth and Robin LeFevere raced to a clocking of 1:49.32 for first at the Blue Water Area Conference League Meet on Tuesday, May 21. Armada High School is where the meet was contested.

Top finishes: An Imlay City quartet of Jillian LeFevere, Robin LeFevere, Winget and Forsyth claimed firsts at the Marlette Invitational and Armada High School-based Blue Water Area Conference League Meet; a team of Jillian LeFevere, Jessica Denver, Robin LeFevere and Winget notched firsts at the Kearsley Relays and Davison-based Shake Off the Rust Invitational; a quartet of Robin LeFevere, Aubrie Behrick, Winget and Forsyth provided a first at the Corunna-based Cavalier Classic True Team Invitational; a team of Jillian LeFevere, Robin LeFevere, Winget and Forsyth took second at the Davison Twilight Classic; plus a team of Jillian LeFevere, Winget, Forsyth and Denver added a sixth at a Division 2 regional in Clio.

Team: McKinzie Winget, Sarah Hubbard, Jessica Denver and Robin LeFevere.

Years: Junior, junior, sophomore and senior,

Event: 1600-meter relay

Best effort: A team consisting of McKinzie Winget, Sarah Hubbard, Jessica Denver and Robin LeFevere posted a time of 4:06.9 en route to a sixth Saturday, June 1 at the Division 2 state finals in Zeeland.

For their performance, the quartet earned All-State accolades.

Top finishes: A team consisting of Winget, Hubbard, Denver and LeFevere took first at the Kearsley Relays; a team of Ana Lengemann, Mary Lengemann, Denver and Winget wound up first at the Corunna-based Cavalier Classic True Team Invitational; a team of Ana Lengemann, Denver, Hubbard and Winget wound up first at the Davison Twilight Classic; a team of Denver, Hubbard, Ana Lengemann and Winget registered a first at the Armada-based Blue Water Area Conference League Meet; a lineup of Aubrie Behrick, Kayla Louwsma, Winget and Denver registered a second at the Davison-based Shake Off the Rust Invitational; a team of Denver, Hubbard, Behrick and Winget took second at the Marlette Invitational; a team of Winget, Hubbard, Denver and LeFevere provided seconds at a Division 2 regional in Clio and at the Caro-based Thumb Meet of Champions; plus a quartet of Winget, Hubbard, Denver and LeFevere added a sixth at the Division 2 state finals in Zeeland (earning All-State accolades as a result). Coach of the Year- For directing his team to a top finish at the Blue Water Area Conference League Meet, Imlay City Coach Steve Lestage earns Tri-City Times All-Area Coach of the Year accolades.
