Leah Dawson (two singles and a triple), Isabella Barker (three singles), Emily Orlowski (a double and a home run) and Makenzie Hayward (a single and a home run) led Imlay City with multiple-hit performances. They were backed by Jaya Forti, Kendall Whitsett and Natalie Douglas (a single each).
Barker was Imlay City's pitcher of record. She allowed two hits, struck out six and walked one along the way.
In the nightcap, Imlay City picked up a 13-2 victory over Durand. That battle went six innings.
Forti (three singles), Emma Sellers and Skylar Stone (a single and a double apiece) plus Dawson and Barker (a pair of singles each) notched Imlay City's top plate credentials. Orlowski (a double) plus Samantha Brown, Whitsett and Douglas (a single apiece) also reached the hitting column.
Forti was the winning Imlay City pitcher. She gave up six hits and struck out six en route.
