TRI-CITY AREA — The Imlay City and Almont girls' track teams registered a first and fourth, respectively, among small school entries last Friday at the Flint Kearsley Relays.

Imlay City's 110-point total paced the field assembled. They were followed by North Branch (68 points), Algonac (67), Almont (60), Burton Bendle (40), Flint Beecher (17) and Flint Southwestern Academy (16)

The high jump (Mary Lengemann and Layla Dalecke), long jump (Robin LeFevere and Aubrie Behrick), discus (Sophia Rosillo and Samantha Kouri), 400 (Jillian LeFevere, McKinzie Winget, Robin LeFevere and Dalecke), 800 (Jillian LeFevere, Jessica Denver, Robin LeFevere and Winget), sprint medley (Carlee Forsyth, Jillian LeFevere, Dalecke and Winget), 1600 (Sarah Hubbard, Robin LeFevere, Winget and Denver), 3200 (Kayla Louwsma, Mary Lengemann, Denver and Hubbard) and distance medley (Ana Lengemann, Mary Lengemann, Louwsma and Denver) relays led Imlay City with firsts. They registered respective performances of 9 feet 1 inch, 30 feet 7 inches, 165 feet 6 inches, 53.64 seconds, 1:52.49, 2:01.14, 4:20.8, 10:35.3 and 14:43.69 en route.

Imlay City's shot put relay of Izzy Aune and Rosillo wound up second, thanks to a performance of 52 feet.

Imlay City's pole vault relay, which included Mary Lengemann, ranked third with a 7 feet clearance.

The thrower's 400 relay of Lisa Harmon, Aune, Sierra Judd and Rosillo added a fourth to Imlay City's cause. It took them 1:11.18 to accomplish the feat.

The pole vault relay of Brandi Brady and Autumn Kwierant paced Almont with a first, thanks to a combined clearance of 15 feet.

Almont's discus relay of Ashley Santo and Molleigh Rinke took second, aided by a performance of 154 feet 1 inch.

The high jump (Claire Taylor and Autumn Kwierant), shuttle hurdle (Autumn Kwierant, Hailee McKinney, Brady and Taylor). 3200 (Heather Fitchett, Molly Kline, Emily Kwierant and Katrina Kline) and distance medley (Heather Fitchett, Brianna Burchi, Katrina Kline and Emily Kwierant) relays gave Almont thirds. They registered respective efforts of 8 feet 7 inches, 1:18.66, 12:04.4 and 15:55.35 en route.

Almont's long jump (Morgan Helfer and McKinney), shot put (Ashley Santo and Ella Cichewicz), 400 (Autumn Kwierant, Valarie Sullivan, Taylor and Brady) and 1600 (Brianna Burchi, Angela Serra, Alyssa

Serra and Molly Kline) generated fourths. Those lineups supplied respective performances of 23 feet

7 1/2 inches, 46 feet

10 inches, 59.23 seconds and 5:33.1 along the

way.

The thrower's 400 relay of Jamie McKelvey, Cichewicz, Rinke and Santo plus distance medley relay of Katrina Kline, Emily Kwierant, Fitchett and Burchi added fifths to Almont's cause. They were timed in 1:11.64 and 15:55.35, respectively.
